My 1981 Camaro started life as a Berlinetta and has since evolved into into completely different beast. My dad and I purchased the car years ago and I drove itfor several years enjoying the Camaro (a joy known only to Camaro owners). Wanting more I took the car off the road and did a complete tear down with dreams of bigger and better things. As normally happens with projects of this size I got sidetracked and moved to Toronto, Ontario. My dad completely rebuilt the car from the ground up and then sent it out to me in Toronto. What a Dad! We have now all returned to Beautiful British Columbia, Canada and the journey continues.
The front sway bar has been replaced with a 1.25" Herb Adams sway bar. The front subframe has been lowered with a solid aluminum body mount with a 1/8" drop and lowering springs. The stock open highway gear rear-end is still in place. A posi 3.73 is in the plan.
