This site chronicles the life of my 1981 Camaro. The Camaro began life as a Berlinetta and was stock when purchased in 1998. I drove the Camaro for 5 months, replaced the engine with a 406 SBC and then decided to do a complete tear down and rebuild. The car was in peices for 1.5 years. I completed the tear-down and began the rebuild (pictures soon to come) only to move to Toronto and give the project to my father. In 5 months my dad completely reassembled the car, finished the body work and painted the car. After driving the car for 4 months the 406 SBC self destructed. My dad replaced the engine, drove it for 3 months and then shipped it out to me. Talk about an excellent dad!!And so the saga continues...
